Work on pre-reading activities of your own choice now. Here's the pool of ideas you have created for working with the book.
Pre-Reading Activities:
- Visual media / create a book cover: draw your own cover for the title. ( I can scan for you)
- Acoustic stimulus, find a song / a video that you think fit the title / the book
- Work on word field: e.g. to give, the giver, something is being given
- Activation of prior knowledge
- Working productively with title, chapter titles, list of characters
- Citations: Find citations that fit the description of the title / the book cover
